New Forge World Paints arrived, Review Soon

So I have noticed few people have posted any reviews on these bad boys except for the "NOT in a dropper Bottle" rants that are currently in full swing both on these and the new GW AB paints.  I do a good bit of airbrushing, and have used Miniaire, GW, and Vallejo all 4 kinds (MC, MA, GC and GA) in my brush over the years.  One thing that has always been hard to find is good metals that have nice colors and don't clog the brush.  The new Game Air silver based metals are pretty good for application but have a funny blue/cool cast to them.  The Yellow-Red Metals are inconsistent with application, often clogging even when thinned.  Minitaire colored paints are pretty good, thickness can be inconsistant but their metals are truly horrid. So I decided to give a couple of the metals and colors front eh FW line a try.  I have Word Bearers and Night Lords in production and got their primary color also.  I will post a review as soon as I get a chance to use them.  More to come.

  1. So I have had a chance to use the FW metals this last weekend. School is interfering with modeling time in a big way lately. Anyhow, the 5 metal paints all have great color and pigment. The silvers go on perfectly, I didn't have a single clog. The yellow metal colors do clog and thinning is required to get them to spray without flogging. You walk a fine line here on these, it's easy to over thin. As to the no dropper bottle issue, Meh, not really a big deal, the poured really well. I will probably move them to 30ml dropper bottle just because I bought a ton in bulk years ago. I am trying the "candy" or tinted clears next. I have seen some brilliant work done with the Angron Red on some online word bearers and am going to try it myself. Will post my findings in the coming weeks. My final thoughts are the melt FW paints worth it. In my book YES, if for no other reason than no one makes these shades except FW. Others may prefer the Vallejo Game Air metals, which I also use, but if I am painting an expensive resin model, I want the ability to get it exactly how I picture it and sometimes that means a big paint collection.

  2. Ohh and the two flat colors I ordered were both nice, thinned well, shot well and good results.

  3. God I am so sorry that you are stupid. I want you to know that I mean you well. You are a retarded piece of shit moron and I am here to help. Please understand how frustrating it is to hear how stupid you are. You just can't get good metals and clear colors with acrylics. So please stop trying or giving a shit. You need to graduate to real manly paints that aren't made for retarded "war gamers".

You should be painting like a man. A man paints with materials that have the potential to give you cancer if inhaled. A man looks cancer in the eye and pisses on its face like it was a toilet bowl. Grab yourself some fucking enamels, lacquers, and synthetic lacquers. What the fuck is wrong with you? Honestly? You know GW, Forgeworld, and Vallejo paints are all new and gay and stupid as fuck. They have about 30 years of experience doing their shit paints. You should buy from a company that has 90+ years.

Enamels: Humbrol and Testors are both hobby paint companies that have been around for over 90 years. Humbrol from the UK and Testors from the US.

Lacquers: GSI Creos (a.k.a. Gunze Sangyo), Alclad II, and Spaz Stix are three companies that make lacquers and GSI has existed in Japan since the 30's. You idiotic fuck. For over 80 years! You retarded motherfucker.

Synthetic lacquers and acrylics: Tamiya! Even if you wanted acrylics the best acrylics are simply Tamiya. There is no fucking alternative to the amazing Tamiya paints. You stupid fuck. Yes you have to mix to get the colors you want because they don't make retarded colors for "war gamers".

All of these companies have been around for many fucking decades. They are HOBBY paints. That means they don't necessarily cater to retarded "war gamers" they cater to regular PLANES, TRAINS, and AUTOMOBILES (and Japanese Ameche). You retarded piece of shit fuckfaces. It frustrates me to no end how stupid and close minded "war gamers" are. No fucking knowledge of paints outside their shitty "war gaming" paints. Citadel, Forgeworld, Vallejo, P3, and all the other shitty "non-toxic" and "foolproof" and moronic CHILD SAFE paints. Wear a manly mask and filter some god damn paint particles out you faggot. I do want to help you though. Understand that my comments come from a place of LOVE. I want you to succeed but I want you to succeed as I insult you. EAT SHIT AND DIE YOU FUCKING FAGGOT. Love.
