Creating a Water Effect Base





My first post will be on creating water base effects.  Dremel out a hole in the base and then glue plasticard under it.


From there I sealed the inside edge with green stuff.


Add some sand and random bitz.



Last mix any water effects agent with a small tint of your choice, GW paint or inks work.  As this was for a Death Guard Contemptor I wanted to give it a poisoned puddle look. Basically a flooded fighting position.

Pretty easy, ANYONE can do it and produce a base that makes people really look twice.

    Thanks Greg, My Death Guards have a "Gas Warfare" motif to them, so pooled liquid dissolving a Guardsman just sounded cool.
